Pumpkin Fun

Here's a fun and very inexpensive idea I found on the Internet a couple of years ago. I make candy filled orange crepe paper pumpkins for everyone in our small office (10).

I take orange crepe paper and cut it into large circles. Then I fill the middle of each circle with small candies. I pull the circle edges up (like a sack) and twist. I tie it off with brown floral twine and cut off the excess crepe paper. Then I completely wrap the "stump" with the remaining twine, tie it off and leave a bit of it to look like vines.

The whole process takes me about an hour. Everyone loves their treat. It's amazing how easy it easy to make someone smile.

The haunting truth is – there are many activities (like the one above) that you can do for little or no money, and many take as little time as 10 minutes.
